Baden-Baden
Baden-Baden. Also called the summer capital of Europe in the 19th century, Baden-Württemberg's smallest urban district has been a popular resort for millennia. Even the ancient Romans knew how to relax in the wonderful aquae (water springs). To this day, various baths and their recreational character have been preserved. On a short walking tour, we explore the casino, theater, and the beautiful Lichtentaler Allee, before crossing the old town to Friedrichsbad and the Roman bath ruins. As a crowning finale, we visit the "Fettquelle," a wonderful thermal spring located behind the Friedrichsbad.
Upon request, we also offer a wonderful hike through the foothills of the Black Forest, which culminates in a visit to Hohenbaden Castle. The price will be agreed individually.
